Now serving Pierce County

The IT person
your business deserves.

Email broken. Wi-Fi flaky. New hire needs a laptop. Printer jammed. Vendor won't return your call. We handle the day-to-day IT work small businesses can't afford a full-time engineer for — without contracts, without minimums, without the markup of national MSPs.

Everything an in-house IT person
would handle.

Pay-as-you-go or month-to-month retainer — same engineer either way.

Helpdesk & troubleshooting

"My computer won't turn on." "Outlook says I'm offline." "I clicked a weird link." Call us, we fix it.

Workstation setup

New laptop or desktop? We image it, install your software, lock it down, and ship it ready to go.

Network & Wi-Fi

Slow internet, dead spots, weird DNS errors, router upgrades, segmenting guest traffic from your office.

User onboarding & offboarding

New employee? Email, accounts, shared drives, phone, badge. Employee leaving? Same process, in reverse, securely.

Software & licensing

Microsoft 365, QuickBooks, Adobe, industry-specific apps — install, license, renew, troubleshoot.

Vendor coordination

Comcast, Verizon, your printer vendor, your POS vendor — we get on the phone with them so you don't have to.

Monthly health check

Retainer customers get a written monthly report: what we did, what we found, what to fix next quarter.

On-call response

Standard: same-day for business hours. SLA retainers available with 1-hour or 4-hour response guarantees.

If you're spending your day
fighting your tech, call us.

Real situations from real Pierce County small businesses.

Tuesday morning

"Half the office can't print."

Print server queue stuck, driver pushed an update overnight, IP conflict with a new device. One phone call, fixed before lunch.

New hire Monday

"Sarah starts in 3 days. Get her set up."

Laptop sourced, imaged, software installed, email and accounts provisioned, 2FA set up, training doc emailed. She walks in productive.

Friday 4pm

"Internet's down. We're losing sales."

We troubleshoot in parallel: your modem, your ISP, your router, your switch. Cellular failover stood up while we wait on Comcast.

Owner's call

"I got a weird email asking me to wire $47K."

We verify the domain, check headers, confirm with the supposed sender out-of-band. Phishing 99% of the time — but we look anyway, every time.

Transparent. No surprises.

Hourly is fine for most. Retainers are for businesses that want a guaranteed response time.

Why Pierce County chooses
Armor Studios.

We answer the phone

You get a real engineer on a real call. Not a ticket queue, not a chatbot, not "first available agent."

No contracts

Most MSPs make you sign 12- or 36-month deals. We don't. If we're not earning our keep, fire us next month.

We built our own infrastructure

We run our own multi-region cloud serving real businesses today. The "senior engineer" you'd hire at a big firm — that's who you get.

Local, by choice

Based in Tacoma. We'll come on-site when it matters. Most calls we resolve remotely — but we're 30 minutes away if you need us in the room.

Common questions.

Do I need to be a retainer customer to call you?

No. Most of our IT work is hourly, pay-as-you-go. Retainers are for businesses that want a guaranteed response time — not a prerequisite for using us.

How fast can you get to me?

Same-day for hourly clients in Pierce County during business hours. 4-hour or 1-hour SLA for retainer clients. After-hours: priority retainers only.

What if a problem takes longer than estimated?

We tell you before we start what we think it'll take. If we hit something unexpected, we stop and call you before continuing. No surprise invoices.

Do you serve outside Pierce County?

Most of our local work is Pierce County (Tacoma, Puyallup, Lakewood, Gig Harbor, University Place, Fife, Sumner). Remote work — anywhere. Ask.

Do I have to switch providers (Comcast, Microsoft, etc.) to work with you?

No. We work with what you have. If switching saves you money or fixes a problem, we'll recommend it — but the choice is yours.

Can you work with my existing IT person?

Yes. We're happy to be the backup, the project resource, or the "person who handles the hard stuff." Most existing IT folks appreciate the help.

Let's talk.

30-second phone call. Tell us what's broken. We'll tell you what it'd take to fix it. No pitch, no pressure.
